Financial Internal Auditor

• Execute audit engagements in accordance with the approved annual audit plan.
• Perform audit planning, risk assessments, and audit scoping activities.
• Develop audit programs, work plans, schedules, and budgets for audit assignments.
• Conduct fieldwork, gather and analyze audit evidence, and assess the adequacy of internal controls.
• Prepare audit working papers, audit reports, and executive summaries with clear findings and recommendations.
• Present audit observations and recommendations to management and business process owners.
• Monitor the implementation of agreed corrective actions and follow up on audit findings.
• Investigate root causes of control weaknesses and recommend process improvements.
• Evaluate financial, operational, and compliance risks across business functions.
• Participate in special reviews, advisory engagements, and management-requested projects.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to improve business processes, controls, and governance practices.
• Assist in identifying training and development opportunities that strengthen audit effectiveness.
