The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and cash operations, along with the ability to work effectively across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Record and review journal entries while supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities to keep financial data accurate and current.

  • Reconcile general ledger, balance sheet, and bank accounts, researching differences and resolving issues in a timely manner.

  • Track daily cash movement and prepare regular cash position updates to support informed financial decision-making.

  • Coordinate payment activity, including wire transactions and intercompany transfers, while ensuring proper documentation and control.

  • Assist with short-range cash forecasting by analyzing balances, expected inflows, and upcoming disbursements.

  • Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and review fluctuations to identify notable variances or unusual activity.

  • Partner with accounts payable and accounts receivable teams to support smooth processing of cash receipts and outgoing payments.

  • Maintain organized banking records, respond to transaction-related inquiries, and work with financial institutions to address account activity issues.

  • Support audit requests by compiling schedules and documentation that substantiate account balances and transaction history.

  • Recommend process enhancements that strengthen cash management reporting, improve efficiency, and reinforce internal controls.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.

  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting with exposure to treasury, banking, or cash management activities.

  • Working knowledge of general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, journal entry preparation, and close processes.

  • Experience handling cash transactions, bank activity, wire payments, or short-term cash forecasting is strongly preferred.

  • Strong Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis for financial reporting.

  • Familiarity with accounting or ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous.
