Financial Analyst and Planner Job Description
Key Responsibilities

• Analyse financial statements, business performance, and market trends.
• Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and financial models.
• Monitor actual results against budgets and explain variances.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities.
• Analyse revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, and key financial metrics.
• Conduct cost-benefit and investment analysis.
• Assist in business planning and strategic decision-making.
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards and management reports.
• Work with different departments to collect and validate financial information.
• Identify financial risks, trends, and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Present financial findings and recommendations to management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration
• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of financial data.
