Financial Planning Analysis Associate (FP&A)

About the role

Provides financial modelling based on feasibility studies on major projects pertaining to sales and trade marketing divisions that will expand the reach of sales volume, ensure viability of the project, and ensure cost-neutral or cost advantage results for the company.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in Go-to-market activities that identify the current situation of customers including market demands, infrastructures, and build strong communication for financial studies
• Participate in Pricing Analysis with sales and trade marketing and provide recommendations to achieve the best product margins to improve company income without huge volume implication
• Conduct in-depth analysis of Price-Volume-Mix Analysis and provide necessary actions and recommendations to improve sales
• Provide Trade Spend Analysis to help trade marketing understand the financial implication of activities like promotional events and programs
• Scope, review, and analyse Product Portfolio to gain competitive pricing, good quality, and higher margins and recommend possible rationalization based on margins
• Provide Profitability Analysis to reveal information about various revenue streams of each account and customer using ratio analysis and break-even analysis
• Maintain and update CO-PA BOBJ reporting monthly, propose manual posting and conduct top-down distribution to provide management P/L reports
• Assist general accounting with monthly P/L closing for analysis and commentaries on sales volume, price, and discounts
• Provide sensitivity analysis between standard and assumptions such as Price-off activity, bundling activation, and BOTO
• Support tasks given by immediate superior and attend meetings and conferences that help the team and other functions
