Financial Planning Analyst

Location: London (Hybrid – minimum 3 days per week in the office)

A global natural resources business is looking to appoint an FP&A Analyst into its Group FP&A team in London. You'll partner with site and corporate stakeholders to support forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis across a portfolio of operating and development assets, while contributing to group-wide reporting and strategic planning activities.

Responsibilities:

• Support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities
• Analyse financial and operational performance across multiple business units
• Partner with site finance and operational teams to review forecasts and results
• Deliver monthly management reporting, variance analysis and KPI reporting
• Support group planning cycles, consolidations and performance reviews
• Build financial models, scenario analysis and business cases
• Prepare reporting and presentations for Executive Management and Board stakeholders
• Contribute to finance transformation, reporting improvements and ad hoc projects

Successful Candidate:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Experience within FP&A, commercial finance or performance reporting
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis skills
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build and maintain financial models
• Experience with Power BI and reporting systems is advantageous
• Natural resources, mining or infrastructure industry experience is beneficial
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Commercially minded with a proactive and analytical approach
