Financial Product Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Product Manager to drive the strategy, development, and continuous enhancement of financial and trading products across multiple asset classes.

You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle , from market research and product strategy through product design, launch, optimization, and internal enablement. The role requires a strong understanding of financial products and the ability to translate market opportunities, client needs, competitive insights, and data into commercially viable product solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Trading Product Strategy: Develop product strategies based on market trends, competitive analysis, client needs, and regional opportunities across asset classes including CFDs, FX, Commodities, Equities, Fixed Income, Funds, and Cryptocurrency .
2. End-to-End Product Ownership: Own the complete product lifecycle from 0 to 1 , including market research, requirements gathering, product design, business rules, launch, post-launch monitoring, and continuous optimization.
3. Market & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct ongoing analysis of competitor products, pricing, features, market positioning, and industry developments to identify opportunities and maintain product competitiveness.
4. Cross-functional Execution: Develop product roadmaps and work closely with Trading, Risk, Technology, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery and implementation.
5. Data-driven Product Optimization: Monitor product performance and user behaviour, identify issues and opportunities through data analysis, and drive continuous product improvements.
6. Stakeholder & Client Management: Engage with internal stakeholders and external clients to understand product requirements, gather feedback, resolve product-related issues, and translate business needs into actionable product solutions.
7. Product Governance & Enablement: Develop and maintain product documentation, SOPs, operating workflows, product manuals, and internal training materials to ensure consistent product understanding and execution across teams.

Key Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in financial/trading products , with exposure to one or more asset classes such as CFDs, FX, Commodities, Equities, Fixed Income, Funds, or Cryptocurrency .
• Strong understanding of financial markets, trading products, product structures, and trading workflows .
• Proven experience managing the full product lifecycle , ideally including successful 0-to-1 product launches .
• Strong product thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear product solutions and rules.
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset; SQL and/or Python knowledge is an advantage .
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Technology, Trading, Risk, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Compliance teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Strong ownership and execution capability with excellent attention to detail.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese , with the ability to work effectively with international and Chinese-speaking stakeholders.

Preferred: Candidates with experience at a brokerage, multi-asset trading platform, investment bank, securities firm, fintech, or digital asset trading platform .
