Financial Reporting Analyst

The Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing annual, semi-annual, and quarterly financial statements and regulatory filings for registered investment companies. This role supports senior team members and managers with fund expenses, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and general fund financial information.

The Financial Reporting Analyst will also assist with special projects, process improvements, and the review of work completed by junior-level team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare annual, semi-annual, and quarterly financial statements for registered investment companies

Support SEC and regulatory filings, including various fund reporting requirements

Review fund expenses, accruals, and expense proformas for accuracy

Maintain reporting calendars and ensure critical deadlines are met

Assist with compliance initiatives related to U.S. GAAP, Investment Company Act regulations, and related reporting standards

Support board book preparation, process improvements, and automation initiatives

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and review work completed by junior staff members.

Required Qualifications:

3-5 years of mutual fund accounting or related mutual fund experience

2 years of financial reporting experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Strong understanding of financial statements, fund accounting, and regulatory reporting requirements

Experience working with investment company reporting processes is highly preferred
