Financial Reporting Manager

The Financial Reporting Manager role will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting across the company's diverse real estate portfolio; including malls, commercial towers and residential projects. The position combines strategic oversight; providing leadership with insights on performance, risks and growth opportunities - with functional execution; preparing consolidated statements, managing tax and statutory compliance, overseeing project accounting and delivering dashboards that support decision-making.

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per Ind-AS/IFRS and consolidate financials across entities.
• Manage project-wise P&L, segment reporting, project accounting, and revenue recognition for residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality businesses.
• Monitor POCM, RERA project milestones, customer advances, lease rentals, tenant billing, CAM charges, and rental escalations.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow projections, and variance analysis across projects and business verticals.
• Oversee finance for mall and commercial operations, including occupancy, rental yields, operating costs, marketing spends, and tenant/zone profitability.
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, RERA, GST, Income Tax, TDS, property tax, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors, tax consultants, authorities, and support tax/statutory audits and assessments.
• Develop and present MIS, management dashboards, project profitability, cash-flow and business performance reports to senior leadership.
• Drive automation and process improvements using ERP, Power BI, and other financial reporting tools.
• Strengthen financial controls and ensure accurate, timely, and audit-ready financial reporting.

Preferred candidate profile

• MBA (Finance) / CA Inter or equivalent qualification. Additional certifications in accounting or financial systems will be an advantage
• Must have experience in Financial Reporting & consolidation, revenue recognition, and project accounting with the real estate industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (Farvision), and MIS tools.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• High level of integrity and ownership.
• Ability to work independently and lead initiatives.
