Financial Reporting Manager

We’re building the next chapter of Finance at EBOS Group.

As our Finance operating model continues to evolve across Australia and New Zealand, we’re looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join Group Finance and play an important role in that journey.

Alongside complex consolidations, statutory reporting and technical accounting, this role has a real focus on improving frameworks, strengthening governance, leveraging technology and creating better ways of working .

Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager and acting as 2IC, it’s a strong opportunity for a technically capable CA who wants breadth, visibility and the chance to make an impact across a diverse ASX/NZX-listed Group.

What You Will Do

• Manage complex Group consolidations across multiple legal entities and business units.
• Review monthly balance sheet and cash flow submissions from operating businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Group requirements.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and coordinate external audit activities.
• Partner with finance teams and key stakeholders across divisions to enhance reporting quality and governance.
• Develop and formalise Group accounting policies, procedures and reporting frameworks.
• Provide technical accounting advice and prepare position papers on complex transactions and emerging accounting issues.
• Support M&A accounting, including valuations and purchase price allocation activities for small to medium acquisitions.
• Drive process improvements and support the implementation of accounting standards and reporting best practices across the Group.

What We Are Looking For

• CA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Demonstrated experience in Group financial reporting and consolidations within a large or complex organisation.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, with the ability to independently interpret and apply accounting standards.
• Experience developing accounting frameworks, policies, procedures and reporting templates.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive, analytical and solutions-focused approach.
• Strong systems aptitude and an interest in automation and process improvement.
• Prior industry experience is preferred, while exposure to M&A accounting, purchase price allocations and related technical matters is desirable.
