Financial Services Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Services Representative to assist in exceeding expectations in financial services for our members with each interaction. The FSR will assist members in various items including, but not limited to, opening accounts, assisting with loans, and relationship management with each member they assist. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a willingness to help educate our members and assist them in building a strong financial relationship with OUR Credit Union.

Responsibilities:

• Opening new accounts
• Processing loan applications and closing loans for members
• Provide exceptional member service by resolving inquiries and issues in a timely manner
• Meet expected sales targets
• Provide exceptional customer service both externally and internally
• Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and internal policies
• Collaborate with other departments to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and services

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years prior customer service experience

• At least 1 year prior experience in a Financial Institution, preferrably FSR role

• Strong knowledge of banking products, services, policies, and procedures

• Excellent member relationship management skills

• Proficient in attention to detail for making zero errors in shares, loan files, and account maintenance

• Sales driven performance, proficient in meeting goals and familiarity with debt protection, GAP, and Mechanical Repair Coverage is a preferred

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
