Financial Supervisor

Overview

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive variance analysis reporting to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
• Develop and maintain financial projection models to support strategic planning and forecasting activities.
• Prepare detailed financial statements in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and other regulatory requirements.
• Perform profit & loss analysis, cost accounting, and account analysis to evaluate financial health and operational efficiency.
• Utilize business intelligence tools and financial reporting software to generate insightful reports for management review.
• Support SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance efforts through meticulous internal control testing and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, pricing strategies, investment analysis, and organizational planning initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in corporate accounting, public accounting, or financial analysis roles with a strong understanding of financial concepts.
• Proficiency in financial software, Excel data analysis, and financial report writing tools.
• Demonstrated ability in financial model development, including forecasting analysis and business intelligence applications.
• Knowledge of IFRS standards, SOX compliance procedures, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial statements and perform variance analysis reporting.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; professional certifications such as CFA or CPA are a plus.
