Financial Systems Operations Specialist

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant work experience in banking and financial services, with exposure to general accounting, cost accounting, financial reporting, or credit card operations.
• Previous experience in credit card financial reporting and operations is required.
• Experience in financial planning and reporting within a credit card business may also be considered.
• Good understanding of the commercial and operational aspects of the credit card business, including transaction processing, settlement, fees, and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with financial system implementation, enhancement, migration, or transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of VISA payment scheme and credit card switching platforms is required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Access is an advantage but not required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly when working with financial data, system outputs, reconciliations, and migration results.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with Business, Operations, Finance, Technology, and external vendors.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Credit Card Business / Financial Systems SME will serve as a subject matter expert for the Bank’s credit card migration and testing activities, with a particular focus on the migration to a new credit card switch and the implementation of the VISA payment scheme.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Bank’s credit card migration project, particularly the migration to a new credit card switch.
• Provide business and operational expertise throughout the planning, configuration, testing, migration, and implementation phases of the project.
• Act as the Bank’s SME for the VISA payment scheme, ensuring business requirements and operational processes are properly understood and implemented.
• Review and validate credit card business requirements, system configurations, transaction flows, and financial outputs.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), parallel testing, and migration testing for credit card systems.
• Validate transaction processing, financial calculations, fees, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting results between the existing and new systems.
• Analyze and investigate system, transaction, and financial discrepancies, and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
• Work closely with Finance, Credit Card Operations, Technology/IT, Business Units, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation.
• Provide business input on credit card processes, financial reporting, and operational requirements during system development and migration.
• Review and validate financial and management reports generated by the new credit card system or switch.
• Support data analysis and reconciliation activities using advanced Excel and other applicable tools.
• Assist in documenting business requirements, test scenarios, test results, process flows, and system-related issues.
• Identify potential business and operational risks associated with the migration and recommend appropriate resolutions or mitigation measures.
• Provide post-implementation support and assist in resolving issues related to credit card processing, VISA transactions, financial reporting, and system operations.

Pay: Php90,000.00 - Php100,000.00 per month
