Fine Dining Server / Bartender

Duties

• Greet guests warmly, provide attentive service, and anticipate their needs throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages with professionalism and flair
• Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest satisfaction while increasing sales revenue
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bar stations and dining spaces
• Process cash transactions accurately and handle credit card payments efficiently using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and guest relations to ensure seamless service flow

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fine dining restaurants or upscale food service environments, with a strong background in beverage service and bartending
• Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail recipes, and food safety protocols essential for delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest concerns diplomatically
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Previous high-end restaurant experience or hospitality background preferred; experience in food industry sanitation standards is highly valued
