Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the first moment.
• Present menus confidently, highlighting specials and wine pairings to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system.
• Serve food and drinks with finesse, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness while adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Provide attentive guest service by checking on diners regularly, addressing special requests, and resolving any concerns promptly to exceed expectations.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments via POS systems.
• Assist with side duties such as bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations in a fine dining environment.

Experience

• Proven experience as a server within a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills.
• Familiarity with Positouch POS system will help.
• Strong knowledge of food and alcohol/wine.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail.
• Background in hospitality or food service industries that emphasizes customer satisfaction and sales techniques like upselling.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
