Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS, processing transactions efficiently and correctly.
• Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits with professionalism, ensuring presentation standards are met and guest preferences are accommodated.
• Upsell menu items such as wines, specialty drinks, or desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, including wine pairings and food ingredients, to provide expert recommendations.
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times to uphold health standards.
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas promptly, and supporting the front-of-house team during busy periods.

Requirements

• Prior experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is required.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques.
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash or card payments.
• Food industry experience including food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.

Pay: $24.39 - $29.37 per hour
