Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems ensuring clarity and precision
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Offer expert recommendations on wine pairings, spirits, cocktails, and menu items to enhance guest enjoyment.
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and managing tabs with POS systems
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu ingredients, food safety protocols, and sanitation standards to ensure quality and compliance
• Assist with bar preparation, bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations
• Engage with guests professionally to foster positive relationships, handle special requests or concerns promptly, and promote guest loyalty through excellent customer service
• Uphold all food safety regulations and sanitation practices to guarantee a safe environment for guests and staff alike

Experience

• Previous food service experience in fine dining or upscale restaurants is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service enhances guest interactions
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to increase sales while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tables seamlessly during busy hours
• Background in hospitality or the food industry with a focus on guest relations and customer service excellence is desirable
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and basic math skills necessary for accurate order processing

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
