Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes, beverages, and specials to enhance the dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using advanced POS systems such as Aloha
• Serve food and drinks with professionalism, including cocktail service, wine pairing recommendations, spirits expertise, and beverage service to elevate guest satisfaction
• Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a genuine focus on guest preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas promptly, and supporting kitchen staff with food preparation when needed
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments efficiently, and manage POS systems seamlessly to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Proven experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments with a strong background in food service and hospitality
• Knowledge of POS systems such OpenTable
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items effectively while providing exceptional customer service
• Strong understanding of wine knowledge, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience in roles such as host/hostess or bartender is advantageous
• Ability to process cash transactions accurately and handle sales transaction processing confidently
• Outstanding guest relations and hospitality skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times

Pay: From $2.13 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
