Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, providing a welcoming and professional first impression
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Clover POS system ensuring clarity and attention to detail
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Offer expert recommendations on wine pairings, spirits, cocktails, and menu items to enhance the dining experience
• Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales opportunities while respecting guest preferences
• Process cash and credit transactions efficiently, accurately handling cash handling and sales transaction processing
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including proper food handling and beverage service procedures
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special dietary needs or requests
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly for the next guests, and supporting host/hostess duties as needed
• Demonstrate excellent guest relations by anticipating needs, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a memorable experience for every guest

Experience

• Proven experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments with a strong background in food service or hospitality
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques including drink presentation standards
• Prior experience with food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures in a restaurant setting
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy and slower periods
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation, cash handling, and sales transactions processing
• Experience in upselling menu items to increase sales while maintaining genuine guest engagement
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment that values hospitality excellence

Pay: $16.00 - $40.00 per hour
