We’re looking for hospitality professionals, not just order takers.

Bawi Korean BBQ is seeking experienced, polished servers with a background in fine dining, upscale steakhouses, or premium full-service restaurants.

Our ideal candidate understands that exceptional hospitality goes beyond delivering food and drinks. It’s about anticipating needs, reading the table, mastering menu knowledge, and creating an experience that keeps guests coming back.

Bawi offers a unique, interactive Korean BBQ dining experience featuring premium meats, traditional Korean cuisine, and tableside grilling. We are looking for individuals who can bring the service standards of an upscale steakhouse into our dining room.

Qualifications

● Minimum 2 years of serving experience in fine dining, upscale steakhouses, or comparable full-service restaurants preferred

● Strong understanding of fine dining service standards and proper dining etiquette

● Experience presenting premium cuts of meat and confidently recommending menu selections

● Knowledge of beverage service, including wine, beer, spirits, and food pairings

● Strong suggestive selling skills without compromising genuine hospitality

● Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, unobtrusive service

● Exceptional attention to detail, professionalism, and personal presentation

● Ability to maintain composure and efficiency in a fast-paced dining environment

● Strong communication skills and a team-first mentality

● Dependability, punctuality, and accountability

Responsibilities

● Deliver polished, attentive, and personalized service throughout the guest experience

● Confidently explain premium meat selections, Korean BBQ traditions, and menu offerings

● Guide guests through the dining experience while maintaining appropriate service pacing

● Maintain exceptional table presentation, cleanliness, and organization

● Anticipate beverage refills, additional orders, grill changes, and other guest needs

● Make thoughtful food and beverage recommendations that enhance the dining experience

● Coordinate seamlessly with kitchen staff, hosts, and fellow servers

● Handle guest concerns with professionalism, discretion, and urgency

● Maintain consistent service standards regardless of volume or table size

● Take ownership of the guest experience from arrival through departure
