Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Present menus, explain daily specials, and recommend wine or beverage pairings to enhance the dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness in accordance with food safety regulations
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and maintaining sanitation standards throughout service
• Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive relationships to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat business

Requirements

• Proven experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant service, with a strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
• Basic math skills for bill calculation, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
• Previous experience in food industry roles such as serving, host/hostess duties, bussing, or kitchen support is highly desirable
• Knowledge of culinary terminology and experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to collaborate effectively with colleagues

Pay: $25.00 - $55.00 per hour
