Finish Carpenter / Apprentice

McDade Construction & Remodeling, LLC is seeking experienced Finish Carpenters to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and restore high-end trim, millwork, cabinetry, doors, and custom finish carpentry components
• Perform detailed finish work on luxury residential renovations, restorations, and custom construction projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and design plans
• Troubleshoot field conditions and develop practical solutions to project challenges
• Collaborate with project teams and other trades to ensure successful project execution
• Assist with remodeling activities, specialty installations, and project completion tasks
• Perform door installation, flooring installation, cabinetry work, and related finish carpentry functions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional workmanship
• Ability to work independently while managing assigned scopes of work
• Experience working on high-end residential projects, historic renovations, custom homes, or luxury interiors preferred
• Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in complex renovation environments
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project plans
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to project sites throughout the Greater Pittsburgh area

Lead Carpenter & Foreman Candidates

• 5-10+ years of finish carpentry experience preferred
• Experience leading projects, mentoring team members, or managing field operations
• Advanced skills in trim installation, cabinetry, custom millwork, door installation, flooring, and residential remodeling
• Ability to coordinate work activities and maintain project quality standards

Compensation

• Full-time employment

Pay: $18.00 - $32.00 per hour
