Finish Carpenter

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise finishing work on residential and commercial projects, transforming raw structures into polished, functional spaces. Your expertise will ensure high-quality craftsmanship, adherence to safety standards, and timely project completion. Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install interior and exterior trim, moldings, doors, windows, cabinetry, and other woodwork with accuracy and attention to detail
• Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute finishing tasks precisely according to specifications
• Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking safely and efficiently, including saws, drills, sanders, and nail guns
• Install drywall, stucco finishes, siding, flooring, and other wood construction materials as required for renovation or new builds
• Perform restoration industry tasks such as rebar installation, plastering, caulking, and mold remediation when necessary
• Assist with framing carpentry and heavy lifting during project setup or structural adjustments
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols related to power tool use and construction site safety

Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to interpret construction plans accurately
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings for precise execution of tasks
• Extensive experience with residential carpentry including door hanging, fixture installation, remodeling, and flooring installation
• Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for woodworking along with woodworking machines for precision cuts
• Familiarity with woodworking materials such as framing lumber, siding materials, drywall components, and finishing trims
• Knowledge of power tool safety standards and best practices for safe operation on active construction sites
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining quality standards during installation or renovation projects
• Experience in the restoration industry or handyman work is a plus for versatile project support

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
