Finish Heavy Equipment Operator

Citrus Hills Construction is seeking a skilled Finish Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of heavy equipment with precision, including skid steers, excavators, box blade, and loaders for fine grading and finishing work on construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, box blades, loaders and excavators for fine grading and finish work.
• Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes.
• Perform finish grading to tight tolerances.
• Ensure proper operation of equipment, perform pre- and post-operational checks.
• Work closely with supervisors and site personnel to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of finish operating experience.
• Proficient in operating skid steers, excavators, box blade, dozer and loader.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and grade stakes.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Set-up and maintain grade with rotating laser
• CDL is a plus.
• Experience working on roads, house pads, utilities, or development projects.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Occasional weekends and overtime as needed
