Finishing and Packaging Operator - 2nd Shift

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finishing and Packaging Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. As a Finishing & Packaging Operator, you'll play a key roll in transforming printed materials into high-quality finished products. You'll be responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining packaging equipment while ensuring every job meets our quality standards.

Duties

• Set up, operate, troubleshoot and maintain packaging machinery to ensure smooth operation throughout production runs.
• Read and interpret job tickets and production instructions.
• Produce high quality work while meeting or exceeding production goals.
• Maintain accurate production counts and documentation.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior experience operating packaging machines or similar industrial equipment preferred.
• Previous experience in print manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions as well as perform basic math calculations related to measurements, counts, etc.
• Experience with forklift operation, hand tools, and material handling equipment like pallet jacks is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to work independently.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
• Team oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
