Finishing carpenter

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Finishing Carpenter to join our interior fit-out and joinery team in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in high-end residential and commercial projects, custom furniture manufacturing, joinery installation, and precision finishing.

The candidate should be capable of working independently, interpreting shop drawings, and delivering excellent workmanship with attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality finishing carpentry and joinery works for residential and commercial projects.
• Install custom-made wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, TV units, wall panelling, doors, and other bespoke furniture.
• Perform on-site installation, alignment, levelling, adjustments, and final finishing of joinery items.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, dimensions, and site measurements.
• Carry out precise cutting, fitting, edge finishing, trimming, and assembly of wooden components.
• Work with MDF, plywood, solid wood, veneer, laminate, HPL, and other joinery materials.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
• Identify and rectify installation defects and finishing issues.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, accuracy, cleanliness, and site safety.
• Handle carpentry tools and machinery safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of practical experience in finishing carpentry and interior joinery.
• Previous experience in high-end residential and commercial interior fit-out projects.
• Strong expertise in custom cabinetry, wardrobes, kitchens, vanities, wall panelling, doors, and bespoke furniture installation.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings and technical details.
• Excellent skills in measurements, cutting, fitting, alignment, and precision finishing.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• UAE experience in interior fit-out or joinery installation is preferred.
• Experience in veneer, laminate, and surface finishing is an advantage.
• Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
