Millwork Finisher

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

JK Concepts has been renowned for manufacturing high-end custom products for the hospitality, education, healthcare, and retail markets in the Denver area.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepares products for finishing by sanding surfaces and quality-checking for cracks or holes
• Applies a variety of finishes to achieve high-end finished products
• Sprays stain and finish, and mixes custom colors
• Handles multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and urgency
• Performs touch-up repairs as necessary

Job Requirements:

• 2 years of related experience
• Experience with sanding and painting using lacquer, urethane, and polyester finishes
• Experience painting in a spray booth
• Ability to mix stains, dyes, and pigments to create custom colors
• Ability to color match
• Self-motivated and demonstrates an ability to meet deadlines and perform work with minimal supervision.
• Basic knowledge of measuring and calculating dimensions of a project using a tape measure and a calculator
