Finishing Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Finishing Technician to support our sheet metal manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for deburring, grinding, sanding, and performing cosmetic finishing on fabricated metal parts to ensure they meet quality, safety, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deburr, grind, sand, and finish sheet metal parts.
• Remove sharp edges, burrs, slag, scratches, weld marks, and minor surface imperfections.
• Perform cosmetic and detail finishing on fabricated parts.
• Use hand tools, grinders, sanders, files, and other finishing equipment.
• Inspect finished parts for workmanship and surface quality.
• Follow drawings, work orders, samples, and supervisor instructions.
• Handle parts carefully to avoid scratches, dents, or damage.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Assist with other production duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in metal finishing, deburring, grinding, or sheet metal manufacturing preferred.
• Experience using grinders, sanders, and hand tools preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to perform repetitive hand work and stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift and move materials as required.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively in a production environment.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
