We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced FinOps Cost Optimization Engineer, VP to join our team in Pune, India. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience in the Infrastructure Cloud Technology industry.

Roles and Responsibility

• Define, analyze, and generate optimization recommendations to reduce costs associated with cloud services, infrastructure, and technology spend.
• Analyze GCP billing data, usage data from Asset Inventory, and monitoring utilization data to assess application teams' GCP consumption.
• Develop and implement cost optimization strategies for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including cloud storage, compute, networking, and databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Create and maintain reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost optimization.
• Provide training and support to stakeholders on cost optimization best practices.

Job Requirements

• Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, CSP CLI, PowerQuery for Excel, Terraform, and GitHub workflows.
• Strong understanding of GCP infrastructure and services, including cloud storage, compute, networking, and databases.
• Experience with financial analysis and cost optimization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data sets.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
