Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced FinOps Developer with strong Python and AWS expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions for financial analytics, billing operations, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in data processing, workflow automation, cloud-based solutions, and stakeholder management. The role involves translating business requirements into robust technical solutions, improving operational efficiency through automation, and supporting billing products to ensure reliable service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, customers, and product teams to understand requirements and influence technical decisions aligned with business objectives.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain data engineering pipelines and processes for analytics and reporting solutions.
• Analyze, transform, and prepare data for analytical and data science use cases while maintaining appropriate metadata structures.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and long-term technical solutions. Own solution design, technical documentation, and ongoing maintenance.
• Identify repetitive manual processes and implement Python-based automation to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance service delivery.
• Develop and support cloud-based data processing and automation solutions using AWS services.
• Work closely with users and product teams to establish and improve support models for billing-related products and services.
• Develop execution plans, track key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor operational performance, and communicate status updates to users and leadership.
• Identify opportunities to optimize existing data workflows, operational processes, and cloud-based solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6–8 years of relevant experience in software development, data engineering, or cloud-based application development.
• Strong proficiency in Python for application development, data processing, scripting, and automation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-based solution development.
• Experience designing and implementing data pipelines for analytics and reporting.
• Knowledge of data transformation, data preparation, metadata management, and data quality practices.
• Experience in process automation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing, deployment, and technical documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per month
