We are looking for an experienced FinOps professional to manage and optimize cloud costs across the organization. The role will focus on improving cloud cost visibility, resource utilization, budgeting, forecasting, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization across cloud environments.

• Key Responsibilities Manage and regularly monitor Cloud costs across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments, including cost visibility and cost allocation reporting.
• Analyze IT resource utilization to identify inefficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and optimization recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with the Infrastructure/Cloud team to ensure resource provisioning aligns with operational requirements and budget constraints.
• Implement and maintain FinOps / Cloud Financial Management practices, including budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, and chargeback/showback models.
• Develop and maintain Cloud cost monitoring dashboards using tools such as Azure Cost Management, AWS Cost Explorer, GCP Billing, or other FinOps platforms.
• Monitor cloud spending and identify cost anomalies, unexpected increases, and areas requiring corrective action.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve cloud cost efficiency and resource utilization.
• Work with technical and finance stakeholders to establish appropriate cost allocation and accountability mechanisms.
• Support ongoing improvements to cloud financial management processes, policies, and reporting.
• Requirements Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in IT Financial Management, IT Budgeting, FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, or IT Cost Optimization.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and their major cost components.
• Strong analytical skills, particularly in analyzing IT resource utilization, cloud usage data, and cost trends.
• Hands-on experience with cloud cost management and optimization tools such as:
• AWS Cost Explorer
• Azure Cost Management
• Google Cloud Billing
• Other FinOps / cloud cost management platforms
• Proficient in data reporting and visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, Power BI, Tableau, or other cost analytics tools.
• Good understanding of the FinOps Framework, including:
• Cost Allocation
• Usage Optimization
• Rate Optimization
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Chargeback / Showback
• Strong ability to translate cloud usage and financial data into actionable business insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with Finance, Infrastructure, Cloud, Engineering, and Management teams.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred / Nice to Have FinOps certification such as FinOps Certified Practitioner or equivalent.
• Experience managing cloud costs across multi-cloud environments.
• Experience implementing cloud cost governance and optimization policies.
• Experience with FinOps dashboards, cost anomaly detection, and forecasting models.
• Understanding of Kubernetes/container cost optimization is a plus.
