- Liaise with clients, project managers, building services teams and authorities having jurisdiction to resolve design, installation and commissioning issues.
- Integrate fire alarm systems with building management systems, access control and other safety systems where required, and validate interface functionality.
- Provide training and handover to clients and end-users on system operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Support continuous improvement by recommending upgrades, product choices and design optimizations to improve reliability and usability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer or similar role working on design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems.

- Experience using test equipment and diagnostic tools for fire alarm systems; ability to interpret circuit diagrams, wiring schematics and manufacturer documentation.
- Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations, risk assessment processes, method statements and safe working practices on site.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to prepare clear technical reports and deliver effective handovers and training.
- Full UK driving license (or equivalent) and willingness to travel between project sites as required.
