Job Title: Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting Technician

Job Description:

Responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, and Fire & Life Safety systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of fire alarm and firefighting systems.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP) and associated devices.
• Maintain and test smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual call points, sounders, strobes, modules, and other fire alarm devices.
• Identify and rectify system faults, including open circuits, short circuits, device faults, and communication issues.
• Inspect and maintain fire extinguishers, hose reels, fire hydrants, landing valves, fire cabinets, and related equipment.
• Conduct inspection and testing of electric, diesel, and jockey fire pumps.
• Inspect, test, and maintain emergency lighting and exit lighting systems.
• Carry out installation, replacement, programming, testing, and commissioning of fire alarm devices and modules.
• Conduct PPM and site inspections and identify system deficiencies and required rectification works.
• Prepare PPM reports, service reports, snagging reports, rectification reports, and other technical documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, Facility Management teams, Civil Defense representatives, and other contractors when required.
• Assist with Civil Defense and Hassantuk-related requirements and inspections.
• Ensure all maintenance and testing activities are carried out safely and in accordance with approved procedures, manufacturer recommendations, and applicable standards.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during emergency call-outs and system failures.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, spare parts, replaced devices, and completed works.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED4,050.74 per month
