Fire Alarm System Technician / Engineer – Addressable Fire Alarm System

We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm System Technician / Engineer for installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Addressable Fire Alarm Systems at project sites.

The candidate should have practical knowledge of fire alarm systems and be capable of independently handling site installation and commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of Addressable Fire Alarm Systems
• Installation and termination of fire alarm cables and field devices
• Installation and programming of:
• Addressable Fire Alarm Control Panels
• Smoke Detectors
• Heat Detectors
• Manual Call Points (MCP)
• Hooters / Sounders
• Flashers / Strobes
• Input/Output Modules
• Monitor & Control Modules
• Beam Detectors, if applicable
• Loop testing and device addressing
• Fire alarm panel programming and configuration
• Testing and commissioning of complete fire alarm systems
• Troubleshooting of loop faults, earth faults, open/short circuits and device faults
• Testing cause & effect / fire alarm logic
• Integration with other systems where required
• Preparation of testing and commissioning reports
• Coordination with electrical, HVAC, BMS and other site teams
• Preventive maintenance and rectification of fire alarm system faults
• Ensure installation is completed according to approved drawings and project specifications
• Maintain proper documentation of installation, testing and commissioning activitiesRequired Skills
• Good practical knowledge of Addressable Fire Alarm Systems
• Knowledge of fire alarm loop wiring and device addressing
• Ability to read electrical/fire alarm drawings
• Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures
• Troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and control systems
• Good communication and site coordination skills
• Ability to work independently at project sites

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in brands such as Honeywell, Notifier, Siemens, Edwards, Bosch, Hochiki, GST, Agni, Morley, Kentec or similar addressable fire alarm systems will be preferred.

Qualification

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or related field preferred
• Relevant experience in Fire Alarm / Fire Fighting / ELV systems will also be considered

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, technically capable and experienced in actual site work, particularly in the installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of addressable fire alarm systems.

Freshers may apply only if they have relevant technical training and practical exposure.
