Fire Alarm Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Fire Alarm Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems in accordance with local and national codes.

• Troubleshoot and repair complex fire alarm systems and related equipment.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.

• Coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.

• Complete accurate and detailed documentation of all installations, inspections, and repairs.

• Rotating on-call schedule

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician.

• Proficiency with a variety of fire alarm systems and equipment.

• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Valid NYS driver's license and clean driving record.

• NYS Background Check as required

Preferred Qualifications:

• NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems.

• Manufacturer-specific certifications (e.g., Honeywell, Potter, Notifier, Simplex, Siemens).

• Experience with networking and integration of fire alarm systems.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
