Fire Alarm Technician Job Purpose: Serves customers by installing cable, raceway, and equipment; terminating equipment; and programming equipment operation.

Fire Alarm Technician Job Duties:

• Serves accounts by reporting to work at the defined time, understanding the supervisor’s job instructions, and analyzing work orders and associated drawings/manuals.
• Prepare for the day’s project by loading equipment and tools for the job, traveling to/from the job site, and communicating with the customer.
• Perform assigned work for customer by carrying out the planned daily job tasks, logging daily work performed, updating supervisor on daily work progress.
• Work individually or as a team member with fellow company workers, other job trades workers, customer staff, and other personnel on-site.
• Maintain customer information in the appropriate method for privacy concerns.
• Update job knowledge by participating in company and personally provided educational opportunities.
• Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations..

Skills/Qualifications: Hold a valid Ohio or Michigan Fire Alarm License,Follow instructions, Analyzing Information, Judgment, Client Relationships, Equipment Maintenance, Reporting Skills, Confidentiality, Quality Focus, Results-Driven, Informing Others, Cable/Electronics Knowledge, Schematic/Blueprint Reading Knowledge.
