Fire & Safety Engineer

NoraEngineers, an engineering consultancy office based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a qualified Fire & Safety Engineer to join our engineering team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for fire protection and fire safety engineering design, preparation of technical drawings, review of fire protection systems, and ensuring that engineering designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop fire protection and fire safety engineering designs for various projects.
• Prepare technical drawings, layouts, and engineering details using AutoCAD.
• Design and review fire protection systems, including fire fighting, fire alarm, sprinkler, hydrant, and related systems.
• Review architectural, mechanical, and other engineering drawings from a fire and life safety perspective.
• Prepare technical specifications, design calculations, reports, and engineering documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable fire protection codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and other project disciplines.
• Review contractor/shop drawings and technical submittals related to fire protection systems.
• Provide technical support during design development and project coordination.

Educational Requirements:
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree or B.Tech in one of the following or a closely related field:

• Safety & Fire Engineering
• Fire Engineering
• Fire Fighting Engineering
• Safety Engineering
• Safety and Firefighting Technology Engineering

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Fire Fighting, Fire Protection, or Fire & Safety Engineering.
• Strong experience in engineering design and preparation of technical drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of fire protection and fire fighting systems.
• Good understanding of applicable fire and life safety engineering requirements, codes, and standards.
• Ability to prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Previous experience in an engineering consultancy environment is preferred.

Important: This position is specifically for a Fire & Safety / Fire Protection Engineer with engineering design experience.

It is not an HSE Engineer, HSE Officer, Safety Officer, or Occupational Safety position.

Pay: ﷼5,000.00 - ﷼8,500.00 per month
