Fire Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain fire protection and fire safety systems at the facility.
• Conduct regular inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance of fire-fighting equipment and systems.
• Monitor fire alarm systems, fire pumps, hydrants, sprinklers, fire extinguishers, and other fire protection equipment.
• Ensure all fire safety systems are operational and maintained as per applicable standards and site requirements.
• Conduct fire safety inspections and identify potential fire hazards and risks.
• Coordinate and conduct fire drills, emergency response exercises, and fire safety training for employees.
• Maintain records of inspections, testing, maintenance, fire drills, and safety incidents.
• Coordinate with clients, facility management teams, vendors, and statutory authorities when required.
• Ensure timely closure of observations and corrective actions related to fire safety.
• Support emergency response activities and ensure compliance with site emergency procedures.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to fire safety and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, fire safety regulations, and statutory requirements.

Qualification

• Diploma / B.Tech in Fire & Safety, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline.
• Relevant Fire & Safety certification will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of fire protection and fire-fighting systems.
• Knowledge of fire safety standards and emergency response procedures.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle emergency situations and work independently.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and maintenance reporting.

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
