Fire Engineer

Must be willing to be assigned to company project sites.

Job Description:

• Supervise field activities for the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Fire Protection Systems.
• Provide technical guidance to technicians and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Review engineering drawings, work instructions, and project documentation.
• Monitor work progress and resolve technical issues through inspection and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Prepare technical reports, inspection records, and project documentation.
• Ensure proper use of manpower, tools, materials, and compliance with HSE requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning, final inspections, and project handover.

Requirements:

• Minimum D3 in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Lead Technician in M&E projects, preferably Fire Protection Systems.

• Strong knowledge of Fire Protection Systems (Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Hydrant) and/or Security Systems.

• Able to communicate in English.

• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

• Experienced in installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of M&E systems.

• Good understanding of HSE practices and PPE.

• Good leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project documentation.

• Relevant technical certifications are an advantage.
