Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Fire Extinguisher Engineer to join our team in the UK. Based in Portsmouth, this role is vital in designing, installing, and maintaining fire safety systems that protect our clients and support our company's mission of safety excellence.
Responsibilities

• Design and develop fire protection systems tailored to client needs using CAD and schematic tools.
• Install, inspect, and maintain fire safety equipment ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with project teams during construction phases to ensure proper system integration.
• Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to guarantee optimal performance.
• Provide technical support and training on fire safety systems.
• Ensure all work adheres to health and safety regulations.
• Document system designs and modifications accurately.
• Stay updated with the latest fire safety regulations and technological advancements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in system design and electrical or mechanical knowledge relevant to fire protection.
• Proficiency with CAD software and schematics reading.
• Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for installation tasks.
• Strong understanding of construction processes related to fire safety systems.
• Electrical experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications or training in fire safety or engineering preferred.
