H&L Recruitment Group is recruiting a Fire Extinguisher Engineer for an established and growing fire safety business based near Wolverhampton.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer or a suitable candidate looking to learn a new trade, with full training available.

The package

• Anticipated basic salary of £28,000, negotiable for the right candidate.
• Additional commission — current engineers earn approximately £6,000–£12,000 per year on top of their basic salary.
• Company van provided.
• Monday to Friday, approximately 8am–4pm.
• Opportunity to finish earlier once your allocated daily jobs are completed, depending on workload and travel.
• Start available in approximately one month, potentially sooner.

The role

You will visit customers ranging from small shops to large industrial businesses, carrying out:

• Servicing and installation of fire extinguishers.
• Installation of safety signage and associated products.
• Professional and friendly customer service.
• Completion of allocated daily appointments.

The majority of work is across the Midlands, with some nationwide travel required.

About you

• Fire extinguisher servicing experience and relevant qualifications are preferred, but full training will be given to a suitable candidate.
• Reliable, organised and comfortable dealing with customers.
• A practical approach and willingness to learn.
• Based within commuting distance of Four Ashes, Wolverhampton.
• Willing to travel to customer sites.
