Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Fire Fighting Design Engineer to design and develop fire protection and firefighting systems for various projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing designs, layouts, calculations, and technical documentation while ensuring compliance with applicable fire safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design fire fighting and fire protection systems based on project requirements.
• Prepare fire fighting layouts, shop drawings, and detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Design systems including fire hydrant, sprinkler, fire pump, hose reel, and fire suppression systems.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and equipment sizing.
• Prepare BOQ, material specifications, and technical documents.
• Review drawings and ensure compliance with NFPA and applicable fire safety standards.
• Coordinate with MEP, Civil, Electrical, HVAC, and other engineering teams.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and site teams.
• Conduct site visits and provide technical support during project execution.
• Review shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Ensure timely completion of design deliverables as per project requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Fire & Safety Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–6 years of relevant experience in fire fighting/fire protection design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards and fire safety regulations

Pay: From ₹50,000.00 per month
