Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Fire Fighting Works professional with 8+ years of relevant experience in commercial

construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, supervision, testing, commissioning and

handover of fire-fighting systems while ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications and

applicable fire safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• l Plan, supervise and execute complete fire-fighting works for commercial building projects.
• l Coordinate installation of fire hydrant, sprinkler, fire pumps and pump room, fire hose reel, wet riser/downcomer, fire
• water tanks and fire extinguishers.
• l Review and coordinate approved shop drawings, design drawings and technical specifications.
• l Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure work follows approved drawings and project schedules.
• l Coordinate with PMC, consultants, architects, MEP consultants and other project teams.
• l Check material specifications, quantities and quality of materials delivered to site.
• l Conduct inspections and ensure proper installation, testing and commissioning of fire-fighting systems.
• l Monitor pressure testing, hydro testing, flushing and commissioning activities.
• l Prepare inspection requests, checklists, test reports and site documentation.
• l Identify technical discrepancies and coordination clashes and resolve them with concerned teams.
• l Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of fire-fighting works.
• l Verify contractor measurements, quantities and work completion.
• l Assist in BOQ, material requirements and work schedules.
• l Ensure compliance with NBC, local fire department requirements and relevant fire safety standards.
• l Coordinate inspections and approvals from relevant authorities/fire department wherever required.
• l Prepare and review as-built drawings, testing & commissioning documents and handover documents.
• l Ensure adherence to project quality, safety and EHS requirements.
• Required Technical Skills
• l Strong knowledge of commercial building fire-fighting systems.
• l Good understanding of fire hydrant, sprinkler, wet riser, pump room and fire water systems.
• l Knowledge of fire pump installation and testing.
• l Ability to read and interpret MEP/fire-fighting drawings.
• l Knowledge of site execution, testing and commissioning.
• l Understanding of BOQ, quantity verification and contractor billing.
• l Knowledge of relevant fire safety codes and statutory requirements.
• l Strong coordination skills with consultants, PMC, contractors and project teams.
• l Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office will be an advantage.

Qualification

• l Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil / Electrical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
• l Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in fire-fighting works.
• l Experience in commercial buildings, malls, IT parks, high-rise buildings or large-scale construction projects will be
• preferred.
