FIRE FIGHTING ENGINEER

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• UPDA – Mandatory
• Valid Qatar Driving License – Mandatory
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Fire Fighting
• Strong knowledge of QCDD requirements and fire safety standards
• Experience in installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire fighting systems
• Good knowledge of fire fighting drawings, shop drawings, and technical documentation
• Ability to supervise technicians and coordinate with consultants, clients, and project teams
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Candidates currently available in Qatar are preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Supervise and manage fire fighting installation works at project sites.
• Review and interpret shop drawings, approved drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and other MEP teams.
• Monitor installation of fire pumps, sprinkler systems, fire hydrants, hose reels, wet/dry riser systems, and other fire protection systems.
• Conduct and supervise testing and commissioning of fire fighting systems.
• Ensure all works comply with QCDD requirements, approved drawings, project specifications, and safety standards.
• Prepare and review inspection requests, method statements, material submittals, testing reports, and project documentation.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and provide appropriate solutions.
• Monitor technicians and ensure work is completed according to project schedules and quality requirements.
• Coordinate QCDD inspections and rectify any observations or deficiencies.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and update management on project status.
• Ensure proper implementation of HSE requirements at the worksite.

Pay: QAR3,400.00 - QAR7,000.00 per month
