About Us
AMTIDAAD is a Category A+ DCD-approved fire safety installation, maintenance and contracting company in Dubai. We are hiring technicians for our growing portfolio of AMC and project contracts.
Role 1: Fire Fighting Technician
Responsibilities
- Install, test, commission and maintain fire fighting systems: sprinklers, hose reels, wet and dry risers, hydrants and fire extinguishers
- Carry out scheduled AMC inspections, servicing and defect rectification
- Install and repair pipework, valves, flow switches and related fittings
- Refill, pressure-test and tag fire extinguishers
- Prepare job cards and service reports, and report defects to the supervisor
- Follow DCD regulations and site safety rules
Requirements
- 4+ years of fire fighting installation or maintenance experience, UAE experience preferred
- Knowledge of NFPA and UAE Fire & Life Safety Code requirements
- Able to read basic drawings and work from ladders and at heights
- Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage
Role 2: Fire Pump Technician
Responsibilities
- Service and maintain electric, diesel and jockey fire pumps and their controllers
- Run weekly and monthly pump tests, record flow and pressure readings, and diagnose faults
- Maintain diesel engines (oil, filters, batteries, cooling system) and pump panels
- Troubleshoot pressure, starting and control panel issues
- Carry out repairs and part replacements, and attend emergency call-outs
- Complete inspection reports and maintenance records
Requirements
- 4+ years of fire pump maintenance experience (NFPA 20 / NFPA 25 knowledge)
- Experience with diesel engines and electrical control panels
- Able to use test equipment such as flow meters and pressure gauges
- UAE experience and a valid UAE driving licence are preferred
