About the Opportunity

We are seeking safety managers and procurement professionals with hands-on expertise in structural anchoring and fastening product selection within fire protection and electrical construction industries. This role involves sharing your expertise on safety considerations, purchasing decision-making, stakeholder collaboration, and price-versus-safety trade-offs—or with potential to inform—how safety solutions and product selection processes can be optimized. Your insights will help us understand how safety requirements influence procurement decisions, what price premiums organizations accept for safety advantages, and opportunities to better support safety-driven purchasing. This is a flexible consulting engagement that can be completed alongside full-time employment. Time commitment is based entirely on your availability and schedule.

Relevant Experience

• Managing safety requirements and influencing purchasing decisions for structural anchoring and fastening products in fire protection or electrical construction.
• Collaborating with procurement, project management, and project teams on product selection and safety compliance.
• Evaluating structural anchoring and fastening products for safety performance, compliance, and reliability.
• Understanding how safety considerations are weighed against cost and other procurement factors.
• Assessing price premiums for products with demonstrable safety advantages.
• Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance in fire protection or electrical construction.
• Experience with vendor evaluation, procurement processes, and organizational purchasing decisions.
• Identifying safety risks, pain points, and improvement opportunities in product selection and implementation.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience or degree in Safety Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in safety management, procurement, or project management within fire protection or electrical construction industries.
• Hands-on experience influencing purchasing decisions for structural anchoring, fastening, or safety-related products highly valued.
• Knowledge of fire protection and electrical construction work environments, hazards, and safety requirements.
