Duties

• Perform detailed fire risk assessments on new and existing buildings, considering construction materials, layout, and safety systems
• Identify potential fire hazards and evaluate existing fire protection measures to determine their effectiveness
• Develop clear, actionable reports outlining risks, compliance status, and recommended improvements or interventions
• Collaborate with construction teams, architects, and safety professionals to integrate fire safety into system design plans
• Ensure all assessments adhere strictly to relevant fire safety regulations, standards, and best practices
• Provide guidance on fire prevention strategies, evacuation procedures, and emergency response planning
• Keep detailed records of assessments, findings, and recommendations for regulatory compliance and future reference

Experience

• Proven experience in construction or related fields with a strong understanding of building processes and materials
• Demonstrated expertise in system design related to fire safety infrastructure such as alarms, sprinklers, and escape routes
• Familiarity with fire safety regulations and standards applicable to commercial or residential buildings
• Ability to conduct thorough inspections and communicate complex findings clearly to diverse stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in assessing risks and designing effective safety solutions
