Fire Safety Manager / Technical Facilities Executive

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM) to oversee fire safety compliance while supporting the day-to-day facilities management and operational requirements of multiple sites. The successful candidate will work closely with Facilities Operations teams, contractors and relevant stakeholders to ensure facilities remain safe, compliant and operationally ready.

Key responsibilities

• Perform statutory duties as the appointed Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM)
• Manage Fire Certificate applications, renewals and related documentation
• Conduct fire safety inspections, risk assessments and compliance audits
• Plan and coordinate fire drills and emergency preparedness exercises
• Investigate fire-related incidents, false alarms and fire protection system faults
• Ensure compliance with the Fire Safety Act, SCDF regulations and applicable statutory requirements
• Liaise with relevant government agencies, regulatory bodies and stakeholders on fire safety matters
• Monitor the condition and compliance of fire protection and life-safety systems
• Support Facilities Operations Managers in the daily management of facilities and building services
• Coordinate and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities

About you

• Registered Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM) with SCDF – Essential
• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Facilities Management experience
• Good knowledge of fire protection systems, emergency response procedures and statutory fire safety requirements
• Experience supporting large-scale commercial, institutional, industrial or critical facilities
• Experience coordinating contractors, maintenance activities and facilities incidents
• Able to prepare technical reports, incident reports and management updates
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
