Fire Sprinkler Engineering Manager

Job Summary

XL Fire Protection is Seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Engineering Manager to lead and oversee the Engineering Department.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Recruit, manage, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, designers, and technicians, fostering technical excellence and career growth.

Technical Oversight: Guide complex designs (Hydrocad,Autocad,Revit), ensuring solutions are effective, cost-efficient, and compliant with standards.

Project Management: Oversee multiple projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and meeting all quality standards.

Code & Standards Compliance: Maintain deep knowledge of NFPA, UL, FM codes, and other regulations, and potentially participate in standards development.

Client & Stakeholder Relations: Act as a technical consultant for clients, architects, and authorities, resolving issues and communicating complex information.

Innovation & Process Improvement: Drive new product development, research emerging technologies, and streamline engineering workflows for better efficiency.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Deep expertise in fire protection systems (sprinklers, alarms, special hazards).

Proficiency with relevant codes, standards, and design software.

Experience with project management and strategic planning.

Relevant engineering licensure (e.g., Professional Engineer - PE) often preferred or required.

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
