We are looking for an experienced Fire Stopper / Fire Compartmentation Operative to join our growing team, working across domestic and commercial projects.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out fire-stopping and fire-compartmentation works to a high standard, ensuring installations meet the required specifications and relevant building regulations.

Duties include:

• Installation of fire-stopping systems
• Fire-rated mastic and sealant applications
• Pipe and cable penetration sealing
• Fire collars, wraps and sleeves
• Fire batt and board installation
• Compartmentation repairs and remedial works
• Identifying and rectifying breaches in fire compartments
• Working from drawings, specifications and installation details
• Maintaining accurate records and photographic evidence of completed works
• Working safely and professionally on site

Requirements

• Previous experience in fire stopping / fire compartmentation
• Good understanding of fire-rated products and installation methods
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• CSCS card
• IPAF/PASMA advantageous but not essential
• Own tools and transport
• asbestos awareness
• working at height

Rates: Competitive — dependent on experience and qualifications.

Pay: £180.00-£200.00 per day
