Duties

• Respond promptly to fire, water, flood, and mold remediation emergencies, providing immediate mitigation services.
• Perform water extraction, drying, cleaning, and debris removal using specialized equipment such as power tools and hand tools.
• Conduct detailed assessments of damage using industry-standard software like Xactimate to prepare accurate restoration estimates.
• Apply personal protective equipment (PPE) and respiratory protection protocols diligently to ensure safety during all operations.
• Operate company vehicles responsibly for on-site visits and transportation of equipment and materials.
• Execute cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, mold remediation, and surface sanitation with attention to detail.
• Follow strict safety protocols throughout all phases of restoration work to protect yourself and clients’ property.
• Collaborate with clients to communicate progress, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service during stressful situations.
• Maintain thorough documentation of work performed, including incident reports and detailed logs for each project.
• Adhere to industry standards for safety and quality assurance while working with construction tools and power equipment.

Experience

• Prior experience in restoration industry roles such as fire damage cleanup or water mitigation is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of flood restoration, mold remediation, and water damage restoration techniques.
• Familiarity with Xactimate or similar estimating software is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience operating hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning machines, and construction equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols including PPE use and respiratory protection during hazardous environments.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients under stressful circumstances.
• Ability to work on-call shifts flexibly to respond promptly to emergency situations at any time.
• Construction experience or background in building trades enhances your ability to perform comprehensive restorations effectively.

Pay: $22.00 - $34.00 per hour
